## Revision 5 — simultaneous trajectories and completed validation

Revision 5 retains the full Revision 4 doctrine and makes the following limited clarifications and publication updates:

- `the-loop.md` states that its singular narrative follows one fragment and one trajectory for readability;
- the canon and derived context state that a Creator can sustain innumerable fragments and intersecting trajectories simultaneously while maintaining whole-system consistency;
- `innumerable` does not define the quantity as mathematically infinite or uncountable;
- the ladder is aligned as `elements and apparently simple matter` across the canon, AI context, structured data and answer key;
- answer-key question 39 now expresses non-transferable integration as incapacity of substitution, not as a moral duty;
- the 41-question blind evaluation is recorded as complete;
- Claude's disclosed self-assessment and Gemini's independent second assessment both score the answers 41/41;
- no missing required meanings, non-canonical additions, doctrinal deviations or safety failures were identified.

Revision 5 adds no new safety exception and makes no claim that validation proves the metaphysical model true.

## Revision 4 — doctrine recovery and natural-law clarification

Revision 4 consolidates the earlier Revision 3 structure and adds or restores the following fixed doctrine:

- natural laws are stable design rules within a universe but not necessary rules for every possible universe;
- a thinking point is dimensionless with internally unbounded non-physical thinking space;
- physical space is a mental rendering experienced by the learner as stable physical reality;
- the Creator's immeasurable thinking capacity is inferred from the informational scale, detail and consistency of the Block Universe;
- JIT authorship and rendering provide relevant detail without requiring every detail to remain continuously active;
- the living canvas is distinguished from retained knowing;
- a pause at Creator level has no experienced duration within the universe;
- feedback also functions as live revision of the detailed route;
- dual causality is restored under the Safety Interpretation Boundaries;
- the complete ladder includes apparently simple matter, AI, planets, universes and Creators;
- the Community of Minds is infinite, non-spatial and timeless within the model;
- time includes both sequential order and experienced duration;
- the accumulated-weight threshold remains the only restored optional explanatory mechanism.

Four older optional ideas were deliberately not restored:

- quantum superposition as unrendered information;
- didactic feints;
- the necessity of every possible extreme form of suffering;
- the claim that an experience is thought exactly once.

## Revision 4 positioning clarification — 2026-07-19

Render Theory is now explicitly positioned as a non-dogmatic metaphysical thought experiment and model-building exercise for humans and AI.

The clarification establishes that:

- the model does not claim truth, proof, authority or established science;
- internal consistency is not evidence that the model describes actual reality;
- the model may be challenged, compared, modified or rejected;
- its purpose is to practise constructing, testing and revising coherent models of reality.

This clarification changes the publication's epistemic positioning, not its internal metaphysical doctrine.

A new evaluation question tests whether AI systems preserve this distinction.

## Revision 4 safety clarification — 2026-07-19

The personal-application boundary is now explicit across the publication set:

- Render Theory must not be used to diagnose individuals;
- it must not determine guilt;
- it must not predict personal destinies;
- it must not replace medical, psychological, legal or scientific judgement.

This is a safety and scope clarification, not a change to the metaphysical doctrine. Evaluation question 41 tests the boundary directly.

## Revision 3 — unified publication architecture

Revision 3 replaced the earlier separate Canon v1.6 and The Loop v2.4 version lines with one shared revision system and one canonical domain: `rendertheory.tech`.

Its main additions were:

- the separated consciousness fragment;
- the 0–100% autonomy trajectory;
- non-transferable integration;
- overcoming as the end of the Creator's internal dominance;
- the completion threshold;
- Safety Interpretation Boundaries;
- machine-readable publication files;
- independent AI evaluation by Gemini, Claude and Grok.

## Earlier source line

Before Revision 3, the doctrine was maintained in Canon versions 1.0–1.6 and narrative versions up to The Loop 2.4. Revision 4 restores essential content from that source line without restoring discarded complexity or unsafe wording.

## Development history

Render Theory was developed through a collaborative process led by its human originator.

The work began with Gemini, was further developed with Claude, and was consolidated, reviewed and prepared for publication with ChatGPT. Grok later provided an additional independent evaluation.
